"So it goes"

Haha what a strange week. My comp taught a lesson while I threw up. But the work moves forward!

Don't worry I'm fine now. We've kicked covid to the curb (hopefully for good!)

I'm not quite sure what I want to write about this week. I'm sitting in a red Tacoma truck with the windows down, listening to country. What more could I ask for? Well, probably that country being Tim McGraw or Brad Paisley, but there will be a time and place for that one day.

One of my favorite songs we listen to (not country this time) is called "Anyway". I've been thinking a lot about a few of the lyrics lately.

"when my hands are empty, when my heart is heavy, I will praise you, praise you, praise you anyway. And when I'm lonely, don't know where I'm going, I will praise you anyway."

Sometimes we may feel like when our tank is on empty, we just can't do it anymore. We can't keep doing the same stuff and feeling the same emotions every single day. We feel like we can't keep doing this "Christian thing" because it's just too hard. But in reality, that is when we need to rely on him the most. He can give us the energy we need when we don't feel like we can keep going.

Most days, I go to bed just dead tired. But this week, it was a whole new level. At times I felt like I didn't have anything left, but the Lord kept me going. Life goes on, and so it goes.

I'm out of words, and kinda out of time since it's 5:52 pm, and our p-day ends at 6. But, I know God knows each of us. This really is His work. There's nothing else I'd rather be doing, and no where else God needs me right now. He needs me here. Not gonna lie, some days I do doubt whether or not I'm needed. Today, I'm humbled at the power of Jesus Christ and his miracles. I know this is my place and my purpose at this time in life. And that's all that really matters.

Don't forget that Jesus loves you,

Sister Wallace

(p.s. mom don't add extra words to this)
